Postal operations resume to most customers impacted by Waldo wildfire

All impacted postal facilities have reopened

As of today, the Postal Service will resume delivery to most addresses impacted by the Waldo wildfire.

The final four postal locations affected by the wildfire have now reopened, including two Post Offices in Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, and Cascade. Deliveries will be made wherever possible.
Customers whose homes have been impacted by the fire can file a change of address
Electronic change of addresses can be filed online at http://www.usps.com or by calling 1-800-ASK-USPS. (1-800-275-8777). Change of Address forms are also available at area Post Offices.
Postal officials are advising evacuees to file a change of address even if they are going to be at their current temporary location for a brief time. They will be able to file additional changes as they move to longer term locations.
If you need a safe and secure delivery point, consider renting a Post Office Box, available at all area Post Offices.
Postal customers with further questions about their specific address, are encouraged to call the following numbers for assistance: Rockrimmon Station – 719-266-8216, Woodland Park Post Office – 719-687-5187, and Cascade Post Office — 719-473-6513.
