On July 2nd, IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger will be visiting Colorado Springs to tour the devastation created by the Waldo Canyon Fire and to address the firefighters that have worked on the incident. General President Schaitberger will be escorted by IAFF Local 5 President Jeremy Kroto and one of the CSFD Wildland specialists through the Cedar Heights, Peregrine and Mountain Shadows areas. General Schaitberger will be addressing Colorado Springs Firefighters at Station 9 at approx 12:30pm and the media is welcome to be in attendance.
