Assistance Available


The Red Cross offers two types of assistance: hard and soft. Hard assistance provides material items such as clean-up kits and comfort kits. Soft assistance minimizes immediate disaster-caused suffering through listening, guidance, advocacy, and counseling. Both types of assistance are being offered at Service Delivery Sites located in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs. Residents will find client casework, health services, mental health, and  clean-up kits at these sites.


SERVICE DELIVERY SITES: Open 9:00am to 7:00pm

  • Fort Collins – 235  E. Foothills Parkway
  • Colorado Springs – 2306 E Pikes Peak Avenue

Residents in the High Park area are encouraged to utilize resources at Information Stations which offer recovery material, access to local resources, hydration and snacks, health services, mental health, and client casework.


INFORMATION STATIONS: Open 9:00am to 3:00pm, July 4th through July 6th

  • Glacier View Meadows – Gate Number 1 (By Mailboxes)
  • Vern’s Restaurant – La Porte, CO
  • Poudre Park – Community Center Parking Area


A multiagency Disaster Recovery Center is open in the Colorado Springs area for those affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire. Agencies are available to work with affected families to meet immediate needs and work on recovery plans.
