Early this morning, Colorado Democratic Party employees discovered eleven windows were vandalized over the weekend at state party headquarters on Santa Fe Drive. Initial police investigations indicated that vandals used some type of hammer to smash the double-pane windows; several of the interior window panes were also broken.
“At this time, it’s impossible to know what—if any—motive these criminals had,” said Colorado Democratic Party Executive Director Alec Garnett. “While the party will cooperate with Denver police, we are committed to continuing our work to win in November despite some broken windows.”
Party officials are working quickly to replace the damaged property.
