Autumn@Adams coming in September

An election year builds excitement and anticipation as the political process unfolds. Capitalizing on the idea of democracy in the United States, the 2012 Adams State University Autumn@Adams Week will educate and entertain, from September 10 through September 15, with events open to the public.

The 2012 theme “The American Dream: Yours, Mine, and Ours/El Sueño Americano: Tuyo, Mio, y Nuestro,” includes Thomas Linzey and the Democracy School; Paul Loeb, author of “Soul of a Citizen,” a lecture focused on deciphering campaign ads, a civil rights round table, an immigration panel, an American Dream video; and the ever-popular Autumn@Adams Cook-Off.

For a complete schedule of events, or for a cook-off form, visit autumn.adams.edu, or call 719-587-7827 or 719-587-7341.
