Gatorade Drive
Pueblo County is holding a Gatorade Drive in an effort to assist with the fire epidemic. Donations can be delivered to the Motor Vehicle department in the Court House from 8am-4:30pm regular business hours all this week. The Sheriff’s Office will then deliver your donations to the fires.

COOPERATIVE CARE CENTER JOINS MASSIVE EFFORT FOR VICTIMS
Pueblo, Colo. –  Pueblo Cooperative Care Center announced today that it will join the massive humanitarian effort to help the victims of the Waldo Canyon and Colorado Springs fires.  Specifically, the Center will provide food, clothing and medical prescription assistance to those individuals who are lodging in Pueblo.
These services will be provided during food distribution hours 9:00 am – 12:00 noon Mon-Fri.  Identification and a brief interview will be required.  The Center is located at 326 West 8th Street.
Colorado State University-Pueblo is providing emergency shelter for its employees and Colorado Springs residents who have been evacuated from their homes.  It will open its Greenhorn Residence Hall beginning tomorrow, June 28 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, July 5 at
4 p.m.
Loaf ‘N Jug & King Soopers
Loaf ‘N Jug and King Soopers have teamed up with the American Red Cross to raise money and collect donations as a result of our associate requests to help.   Many of our associates and communities are directly affected by the devastation caused by the recent wildfires.  The American Red Cross is providing critical help to thousands of people affected by the raging wildfires in Colorado.
HOW PEOPLE CAN HELP Those who want to help can make a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief at any Loaf ‘N Jug or King Soopers store in CO and Cheyenne, WY.

CSU-Pueblo                                                                                                                                                          There will be approximately 200 beds available. Those needing housing assistance must have valid identification with either a driver’s license or military ID. A $10 nightly fee will be charged and linens will be available for an additional fee. Persons needing such assistance should call the “CSU-Pueblo Emergency Shelter Hotline” at 719-250-0646.

Pueblo City Council has a room at the Pueblo Convention Center where evacuees can come to have coffee and check their status on computers.
