Waldo Canyon Fire forces changes to mail delivery for 32,000 customers
Colorado Springs – The spread of the Waldo Canyon fire has forced the Postal Service to relocate postal operations for affected customers to pick up their mail.
NEW: If you receive mail at the Air Force Academy, 80840, your mail will be available for pickup at Briargate Station, 8585 Criterion Dr. Hours of service are from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m, phone (719) 265-4409.
NEW: If you receive mail out of Rockrimmon Station, 80919/80949, mail will be available for pickup at Templeton Station, 4356 Montebello Dr. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., (719) 266-6033.
NEW: If you receive mail out of North End Station, 80907, Holland Park, West Centennial and Garden of the Gods area, mail will be available for pickup at North End Station, 2940 N Prospect. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (719) 473-5304.
CONTINUING: If you live in Green Mountain Falls, CO, 80819, mail pickup will be out of the Woodland Park, Tamarac Station, located at 900 Tamarac Parkway. Hours are from 9:00 -5:00, phone 719-686-0240.
CONTINUING: If you live in Cascade, CO, 80809, mail pickup will be at the Colorado Springs, West End Retail Unit, located at 204 S 25th St 80904. Hours are from 8:30-5:30, phone 719-473-6513.
